After many years as an apprentice and training in Savile Row, tailor and designer Kale Van Der Merwe returned to South African to share his skills and designs with the decerning fashionista. The brand Kale & Co was born and needed a new store and marketing campaign. The project involved an official launch of a premium boutique in Bree Street Cape Town. S Squared Privé was brought on to produce a bespoke event focused on a niche clientele for a niche business. A formal evening event was produced to introduce Kale & Co to the Cape Town fashion scene while hosting fashion press and media, select clients and celebrities. The showroom was brought to life with models acting as live mannequins in the windows, a salon Privé style fashion show and high-end canapes and cocktails completed the picture.
